A beautiful and classic velvet dress from the late 1930s or early 1940s! This is the type of dress you can wear over and over and it will always look different because it can be accessorized numerous different ways ! Perfect for Christmas or holiday party, but can also be worn to dinner or a party. Very versatile, it is what you make it ! The dress has small snaps along the front that start at the neck and end at the waist, this is the only opening/closure on the dress. It also has a small line dealing that goes up the ribcage. The shoulders are slightly puffed with small pleats on the shoulder, there are also snaps on the cuff. There are these small snaps with a ribbon on the inside of the dress, I imagine it's to hold the straps of a slip in place.
